Hi there

This is the first time I post here, so I hope I'm tagging this correctly.

I often cook this dish when I have guests over for dinner and receive a lot of praise for it. There hasn't been a single time when I haven't been asked for the recipe, so this one is a crowd pleaser! :D

I'll go right ahead and friend you, then, and I'll check out these two communities as well. I've been trying to find groups to exchange recipes with for a while, but haven't managed to find anything other than a few food bloggers who just post their own stuff for others to use, there's just no opportunity to have a real conversation there, so... I'm hoping to be more lucky here! :)

Yeah we love recipe posts here! Buuuut, it sometimes depends on various factors how much activity any post gets, especially because it's not a food-specific group.

Things are pretty stressful for me and I haven't been able to devote as much time as I'd originally hoped to making lots of posts to get things started at being active either, so that hasn't helped as far as getting more members/more participation.

Good luck finding a place that has lots of chat about food and cooking! If you find a good one feel free to tell us about it over here!

I get it that this isn't a food-specific group, but since it was all about hobbies I thought I'd try posting here to see if anyone was interested in cooking.

I promise not to flood you guys with all my recipes at once, just one or two, if anyone shows interest in this topic.

I'll make sure to leave either a note or a link around here if I find something interesting. Would you guys accept a link to a cooking community that I just joined over at LJ? I don't want to post that and ruffle people's feathers, since that is a different journal altogether, so I thought I'd ask first.

I hope things calm down for you soon and you get the time to get things rolling in the community, it looks like a wonderful idea. :)
