Let's Talk About GARDENS

I would like to have a gardening post plz!
Do any of you grow plants of some kind? I live in a flat that has a small area of concrete yard attached and I grow herbs in containers and love that!
Currently I have: Sage (2 kinds), Spearmint, Onion, Garlic, Chives, Lemon Balm, Rosemary (my favorite!), and I just planted some hot peppers from seeds a friend sent me last year.
Sadly, my rosemary plant despises being in the house, and winter is taking ages to shuck off the Freezing Colds, so I haven't been able to put her back out for spring yet... if it doesn't warm up soon I fear she may be toast. It really makes me sad, I've had this plant for like 2 years now, I love it kind of like it's a pet. :P I managed to extract 2 small sprigs that I tried to root in some water and finally just stuck in the pot with the pepper seeds... one looks pretty dead, the other seems to be getting on great but is so tiny I'm not sure it'll root properly. We'll see. The main plant is too sickly to spare anything more but the thought of having no rosemary at all gives me the terminal sads.
I love lots of plants but growing stuff for the kitchen is my favorite because it is somehow tastier to eat things you've grown. A pinch of Feeling Satisfied With Yourself is the best flavoring I guess? XD
Herbs are my favorite plants in the world. They're hardy (for the most part-- poor Rosemary!), they're pretty, they smell amazing, and they have lots of uses. I put them in the bath. I boil them and wash my hair with the water. I burn them for fragrance. I flavor my food with them. I make tasty teas, remedies for minor upsets (saves some money at the chemists!), and various potions to make my skin feel nice. Rosemary and Sage are like the Super Friends Plant Superheroes Team or something. In fact, here is a fun fact about sage: the Latin name, Salvia, comes from a root word meaning "to save" or "to heal," and it was used to treat a variety of ailments. A popular phrase was "Why should a man die who has sage in his garden?"
