Anything Goes!
Jan. 12th, 2014 11:03 pmIcon seemed appropriate because I can't seem to keep my head on straight about my posting... I need to get a calendar again!

Start my new job in the morning! I'm so excited. I'm nervous too. I'll let you all know how it goes.
How was your week?

Date: 2014-01-13 05:10 am (UTC)My son started swimming lessons on Saturday-he's done them a few times over the years but never stuck with them long enough to really progress. This teacher is really great, and I found out that his pediatrician takes her kids there! That's a good sign, right?
Other than that he's busy with karate, and school. And being a pain in the butt. LOL
Me, I'm in a rut, as usual. I really want to DO something but I have this habit of being really excited about something and then losing interest really fast. Cases in point-the candle making, the interest in Wicca, podcasting, blogging, the cookbook, going back to school...just to name a few in the last year or so, but really this has been a trend for like ever. I could really use some advice. I think my ambitions have more to do with the person I *want* to be rather than who I really am, so I get overwhelmed and quit. I don't know.

Date: 2014-01-14 03:06 am (UTC)I get like that a lot too, especially when I'm really depressed. I'm so thrilled I've stuck with crocheting and knitting as long as I have, I hope these are hobbies I can actually keep unlike all the other stuff I adored for five minutes haha. Fingers crossed! There are things I always like to do but I do phase in and out of stuff a lot.
I know that overwhelmed feeling too. Big hugs! I hope you can figure it all out. I hope we both can.

Date: 2014-01-13 07:09 am (UTC)I had a hectic work week last week, which left me too tired to do anything exciting, but I have spent some time decluttering, finished reading "The Girl Who Fell From The Sky" and started "The Night Circus" which I'm really enjoying so far and that's about all I can think of off the top of my head.
Have a good week everyone.

And yaaaay books! Right now I'm reading Sprig Muslin by Georgette Heyer. It's really quite a lot of fun.
