Today I got given 4 skeins of yarn! I'm really excited. I might possibly have enough to make a shirt, if not, I'm making a big ol' shawl. I love shawls.

Week has been really good! Fantastic mood everyday :) I got the details on when we're going to move (early September) so that's one thing less to worry about.

However, tomorrow(the 13th) is the 12th anniversary of my grandmother's passing away. I'm finally starting to feel like I've accepted it and like I can live with it, but I'm not sure how my mum's going to feel. And seeing how bad I am at dealing with other people's feelings, I'm kinda nervous about how the day's going to be like.

2014 will mark a decade without my lil sis, so I really feel you on that. All hugs and best wishes.

I'm really happy for you that you had a great week otherwise though! yay! :D I'm hoping I'll get to start saying that soon. I'm pleased because things are pretty stable at the moment but oh my gruh stress. I really want a job and the means to support myself.

I'm actually replying on Friday!

I have this recipe for cheese danish that wants to be really good but isn't. I don't know if it's something I'm doing wrong or something is wrong with the recipe. Having said that, 'not really good' != 'bad', so I'm gonna keep messing with it.

I've got the apartment all to myself this weekend. So what am I gonna do? Laundry and chores, yay. Hopefully I can get them all done today and tomorrow so I can spend Sunday watching stupid movies and knitting.

Getting caught up on chores when there's no one else to be in your way is awesome. Hope you get at least a few hours chill-out time in your newly clean space to enjoy the fruits of your labors!

Signed my son up for karate today. He's done a few trial classes and really likes it. He wasn't in day camp this week, so we did a few random things. We rented a movie from the library almost every day, went out, made cookie dough today, did other random projects and stuff.

When he's older he's going to remember fondly how you used to do lots of things with him. :D

Well today we went to a dinosaur exhibit. I hope he does remember some things. Maybe not from this young but we're getting there.

I have definitely been getting the itch to crochet lately. I want to make some hats for my younger baby girl. I never bothered much with hats with my first, so she doesn't care much for them. :/ I dunno if I have any yarn though.

Definitely still obsessed with Doctor Who, though. My husband seems to like it even more than I do! We're in season 4 now (of the newer series), and I will just say I think Donna is hilarious. She and the Doctor throwing insults at each other is just too funny. I'm definitely glad she wasn't limited to just one episode. XD
