 Okay, so one of my favorite communities in LiveJournal is the Fertility Awareness community. There wasn't one in DW until now--I made one! :)

I'm by no means an expert in fertility charting but I do have a tiny, tiny bit of experience, and I own a copy of TCOYF, lol. So if anyone here also has some experience, is interested, or just plain curious, feel free to check us out! Details are in the comm info page.

Awesome! :D Hope it gets a lot of members (I'll opt out of this one just cuz I'd be pretty useless, I can't hardly tell what part of my cycle I'm in since IUD and it's not a high priority atm).

I thought I'd take the opportunity to make some more concrete rules about this kind of thing too, because I'm new to the whole comm thing myself so, it's never really come up before!

SO! Executive decisions for those curious about this kind of thing but tentative because of wondering about the internet etiquette:

COMM PLUGS ARE 100% TOTALLY OKAY AND COOL HERE. As long as they're non-fandom/interest based, go ahead and plug your fave comm! Interested In That has a super wide scope so please feel free to point the interested to more specific, focused comms! It's appreciated if you do it as part of an interest post (like, "whee here's a post about muffin baking and my fave muffin recipe, and FYI join DWMuffinz it's a comm just for that!") but not a requirement. You don't need to ask about these, just go ahead.

What's a bit more iffy is posting ads/ business plugs/ donation requests. Please ask first, and know that might be something I refuse. Haven't decided whether to ban it outright, but yeah, definitely ask first on that okay y'all? If you post something like that WITHOUT asking, even if it's super legit, I will delete it. thanks!

Thanks for clarifying. I did check the rules before I posted this and I got the impression it was okay from what was already written, but it's nice that it's actually stated now. :)

That is really awesome. I know of a lot of women who have fertility issues so even though I don't deal with that myself, it's sort of an issue that's dear to my heart because people I care for deal with it. Good luck!

Feel free to join up yourself, if you like--it's not just for women with fertility issues. :D I have no known issues but I love knowing what's going on with my body when possible. :D
