Crafts
I hope this is what you have in mind, seventhbard, for the kind of posts you want in here--
I was curious what crafts everyone does. I know seventhbard knitrochets (is that right?) LOL. Do any of you make candles? I was kind of looking into it and was curious if any of you do. I'd also know what else any of you do to create things and if you sell them or keep them for your own use, or what. Thanks!

I'm also learning how to knit and am loving that, too!

I am collecting 'things' for a first attempt at a scrapbooking project. In the past I've done stencilling and embossing (Still have all the stuff for those in storage).
I like to give presents to friends and family that have been made (particularly at Christmas). Most of the time, they're really simple gifts (year before last it was vanilla essence, last year most people got home made bathsalts). More something that I've put a little time and effort into rather than the gift being about having spent loads of money. This year I've made a bunch of ruffly scarves and some crocheted hats and I still have a couple of months to go.

I'll finger knit sometimes to keep my hands busy, but I usually unravel it all when I am done.

Here are some custom made bin cages for rats and hamsters (I find them superior to most storebought cages):
And yes I "knitrochet!" LOL. It's crocheting but I find that people tend to call it knitting because that's the only yarn art they know hence the combo word, haha! I'd hate to think what people who are into tatting (which is like this hella complex lacemaking thingie) must hear. XD
"Just call my crocheting 'knitting' again, I dare ya!"

This year I got into making pickles in a big way. I've done red radishes, failed at daikon, did cucumber multiple times, and I've made eggplant kimchi. Next up is garlic - in honey.

ETA: Come to think of it, with two kids at home, having the TIME to crochet anything is hard to come by, LoL. I'd do it while watching TV but I like to watch everything with subtitles and I can't crochet without looking. XD
