I've not had the best of weeks. A dentist trip at the beginning of the week left me out of sorts (not the dentist's fault) which was then aggravated by a not so good reaction to medication which has made matters worse. Today I've finally managed to get an alternative medication but I'm still left with the lingering effects of the previous one. (Wasn't helped by the chemist actually sticking a label over some of the instructions of how to take the original one, although there would still have been a problem I think).
Knitting progress of my niece's birthday present is going slowly (very slowly - not helped by having to undo it and adapt the pattern slightly as turns out the wool was not quite what it was supposed to be). I didn't think I'd achieved much this week, but turns out I've finished reading four books so that can't be too bad (two of them were started before this week so I haven't read 4 complete books and one of them was quite short!).
I had the week off work as a holiday, I can't work out whether to be thankful about this or not - I was looking forward to achieving all sorts of things, but thanks to feeling bad, I've achieved none of them at all.
Oh, one trip out to a charity store did net me a little telephone table that I've cleaned up and am now using as a printer stand - rather pleased about that. :D
